The George Harrison estate has launched a new music label, HariSongs, to promote Indian classical music. The first two releases feature Harrison's friend, teacher and collaborator Ravi Shankar. The label is launched in partnership with Craft Recordings, and will issue recordings from the Harrison archives. The first two releases, available to stream and download from 27 April are reissues: In Concert 1972 by Shankar and sarodya player Ali Akbar Khan; and Chants Of India by Ravi Shankar, produced by Harrison and first released in 1997.
